We strive to improve the health of people throughout British Columbia.


The Department provides leadership for innovation in health care, fosters partnerships for promotion and enhancement of family medicine and midwifery, supports faculty to teach and inspire medical and midwifery students and family practice residents across the province, and supports faculty to undertake primary care research.
