April Cedar Award: Jordan Christmas

The Department would like to recognize Jordan Christmas for the April Cedar Award. Jordan is the administrative coordinator, a role in which she is hugely supportive to department members. She is known as a go-to for information on department insights, equipment, contacts, finances, and resources. Jordan always strives to answer questions and support people in finding what they need to keep things running.

Recognized as an invaluable member of the team, Jordan “has provided lots of logistics support, and also been a great team member in supporting Work Learn initiatives for the administration team. Jordan has also been a team player.”

Jordan is an integral member of the Department of Family Practice.  She goes above and beyond in her work and treats colleagues with respect and care.  She is a pleasure to have on the team.”

About Jordan

Jordan is originally from the UK, but has called Vancouver home for the past four and a half years. Prior to UBC, Jordan worked for the Rural Coordination Centre of BC, so she has enjoyed seeing lots of familiar faces over her past year and half in the Department. Most recently, Jordan befriended her friends’ puppies as a way to get through the winter months. She spends her free time outdoors hiking or biking, so she is ready for summer to arrive!
