The Department of Family Practice has had a departmental newsletter in some shape or form since 2021, in order to adapt to the communications needs of the department. As of September 2025, we are pleased to introduce the Family Practice and Midwifery Connector, a biweekly newsletter to keep you updated on the news, events, and research at the UBC Department of Family Practice, delivered every other Thursday. While the content may vary from week from week, subscribers can expect faculty and staff news and updates, upcoming events, recent publications, research resources, funding opportunities, and other exciting segments (maybe a cute dog – or two!).
