The Department of Family Practice is grateful to our excellent staff and faculty, whose everyday care and dedication lead to better medical care for all across the province of British Columbia. This month, we are pleased to recognize Kitty Dich, Program Coordinator at the St. Paul’s Hospital CMG Site, for her knowledge, expertise, and collaborative approach to work.

Kitty was nominated by Stephanie Milne, Program Manager of the Public Health & Preventive Medicine Residency Program at the School of Population and Public Health. “Kitty and Maria have been absolutely amazing as we bring the new Public Health and Preventive Medicine, including Family Medicine site, to life. They have been incredibly welcoming and generous in sharing with me their best practices, wisdom, and knowledge on fundamental PGME systems, including One45,” she says.
“Kitty is an amazing and collaborative coordinator in the Family Practice ecosystem. She is a champion for residents and an irreplaceable team player to her PGME colleagues,” Stephanie continues. “I am so grateful for their support and guidance as we lay the foundation for our new site.”
Please join us in celebrating Kitty Dich!
About Kitty Dich
Kitty has been part of the Department of Family Practice for the past 13 years and still can’t believe her luck. Working alongside such warm, kind, and supportive people every day feels a bit like winning the workplace lottery. As a proud homebody, you’ll find Kitty fussing over her small patio garden in the summertime. In the winter, she will spend months knitting a sweater, only to discover the weather has turned too warm for her to actually wear it. Kitty’s dream is to one day own a peony farm with her husband and tend to a menagerie of miniature animals.
