Dr. Videsh Kapoor, Co-director, Global Health Enhanced Skills Program

Lindsay is the crucial constant of the Enhanced Skills Program. She has maintained continuity, integrity, and supports the evolution of all the Enhanced Skills Program. Despite the multiple programs she manages, I always feel like a priority when there is an issue to be dealt with (and I suspect this is the sentiment of all the other ESP directors).

She has an astute awareness of program areas that need attention, including both resident and faculty issues/difficulty and can respectfully make suggestions and facilitate solutions. I am amazed by how efficiently she organizes her tasks and communicates in a collegial and professional way that strengthens our team.

Dr. Anmol Lamba, Program Co-director, Enhanced Skills

Lindsay Gowland is a standout manager, known for unparalleled responsiveness and proactive leadership. She will be the one who remembers to follow up on a minor obscure task from an email that was buried in your inbox six months ago. This level of attention to detail has highly improved the job satisfaction others derive from their work here, and our program has a strong physician and administrative retention rate because of it.

Her ability to anticipate needs and solve problems has dramatically increased her team’s efficiency. Her dedication and managerial skills inspire and elevate the entire office. She truly embodies the spirit of excellence in administration.

Barbara Harris, Senior Program Assistant, Enhanced Skills

Lindsay sees the value and strengths that each individual on the ESP administrative team brings to the table. She encourages us to reach our full potential by creating safe spaces to collaborate. At all times Lindsay shows respect, patience, kindness and compassion. This results in increased efficiency, as the Enhanced Skills team works together towards our common goals, to assist in providing family doctors with the best learning experiences possible.

Outside of work, Lindsay has a background in art and puts her skills in illustration and design into projects with her two boys.

Please join us in congratulating Lindsay!
