UBC Centre for Community Engaged Learning Workshops

The CCEL is a centre of community-based research at UBC. It offers in-person and virtual workshops designed to help students build community partnerships and project development skills.

UBC Learning Exchange – Community Based Research  

The UBC Learning Exchange connects people from UBC and Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (DTES) to learn from each other in new ways and facilitate research and knowledge exchange. Its community-based research activities and knowledge-sharing are a vital part of the Making Research Accessible Initiative, which seeks to make research more accessible to those living and working in the DTES.

The Community Engagement office at UBC supports university and community partners to work together, bringing the full force of combined experiences, expertise and knowledge to advance a more just and sustainable society. The office offers workshops, a campus-wide directory of community-based initiatives, a community partner help desk and more.

Health Research BC: BC Support Unit

The BC SUPPORT Unit is a provincial initiative that moves evidence developed with patients and communities into practice. They provide services to researchers, patients, policy makers, clinicians and health system leaders. This includes a list of tools and resources
